Hello! My name is Mrs. Mecham and I feel truly blessed to be part of the wonderful team at Kila School! This year will be my sixth year as the 4th grade teacher here at Kila and I have been busy getting things ready for our upcoming school year. My family and I have been in BEAUTIFUL Montana for over seven years now, and we still can't get over the beauty this area offers every single day. I have been in education for over 15 years and now hold credentials in two states. During my time as an educator, I have had the opportunity to teach kindergarten through 12th grade level courses in a traditional classroom setting as well as in specialized settings. I have also been so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work in curriculum design, and instruction which is something I am truly passionate about. With that said, the classroom is where my heart is and I could not be more excited to be teaching 4th grade, THE BEST GRADE, here at Kila School! Please know that my "door" is always open and my hope is that parents feel just as comfortable speaking with me as students do. Education is a partnership between teachers, students and families; student success occurs when all pieces come together. Through Class Dojo, email, notes, phone calls or simply dropping in, please know I am available and here to ensure that this is the best possible 4th grade year your child could have.
